RZPersistence is a new trait in the German index. This additional breeding value persistence is intended to help with day-to-day selection decisions by indicating the animals’ ability to continue producing milk for as long as possible. This breeding value especially appeals to farmers who want to extend lactation deliberately. All bulls with a German index lose 5 points on average in RZG. With +156 RZG and +113 RZE for his April 2023 index run, OH DG Topstone remains the #1 B&W daughter-proven sire. He is followed by Superhero son Super Uno at +152 RZG and Suprem at +149 RZG, completing the stage. Aperol P is the #1 R&W Daughter Proven sire at +145 RZG, followed by Solitair P at +143 RZG, and Snickers P at +141 RZG is the #3 daughter proven R&W RZG sire.
