In Class III trade at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, milk futures were higher, seeing continued follow through buying from last week’s rally. The USDA’s monthly supply and demand report is out Wednesday. November was up $.17 at $16.97, December was $.27 higher at $16.72, January was up $.14 at $16.07, and February was $.11 higher at $16.09.
Cash cheese blocks were $.03 higher at $1.93. The last unfilled bid was on one load, also at $1.93. Barrels were unchanged at $1.86.
Butter was up $.01 at $1.9025. There were four loads sold at $1.9025, along with one at $1.895 and one at $1.90. The last unfilled bid was on three loads at $1.9025. The last uncovered offer was for one load at $1.95.
Nonfat dry milk was $.0125 higher at $.86. The last unfilled bid was on one load at $.86. The last uncovered offer was for one load at $.875.
