Class III milk futures at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange were mostly lower on technical activity and recent mostly lower spot dairy cheese trade. June was down $.01 at $16.28, July was $.14 lower at $16.53, August was down $.03 at $17.03, and September was $.05 lower at $17.23.
Cash cheese blocks were $.02 lower at $1.63. Four loads were sold, two at $1.63 and two at $1.625. Barrels were down $.01 at $1.415. 24 loads were sold, 21 at $1.415 and three at $1.42. The last unfilled bid was on two loads at $1.415. The last uncovered offer was for one load at $1.415.
Butter was up $.0025 at $2.465. One load was sold at $2.465. The last unfilled bid was on one load at $2.4625. The last uncovered offer was for two loads at $2.475.
Nonfat dry milk was $.015 higher at $.9175. Seven loads were sold, including two at $.9175. The last unfilled bid was on one load at $.9175. The last uncovered offer was for one load at $.94.
