Changes Made to the World Dairy Expo Code of Ethics

World Dairy Expo rules, dairy show ethics, dairy cattle fitting, marketing dairy genetics, dairy showmanship standards

In our continuing responsibility to host a world-class dairy cattle show and maintain its high ethical standards, World Dairy Expo has updated the Code of Ethics and Showring Policy. These changes can be found beginning on page 24 of the Premium Book and will be enforced at the 2025 show. We encourage exhibitors to review these updates.

Bill Hageman, President of the World Dairy Expo Board of Directors shared, “Refinements to the Code of Ethics and Showring Policy were considered based on feedback from a variety of cattle exhibitors, industry stakeholders and subject matter experts. The revisions emphasize clearer rule definitions, a more efficient violation process and a more structured approach to assessing responsibilities and penalties.”

Serving as the meeting place of the global dairy industry, World Dairy Expo is the premier forum for the dairy community to learn, share, create commerce and showcase competition. The Dairy Cattle Show will return to Madison, Wis. September 28 – October 3, 2025. Dairy producers can experience the world’s largest dairy-focused trade show, a world-class dairy cattle show, attend seminars, meetings and presentations highlighting the latest and greatest in the industry and connect with other producers.
