An East Devon cow has been named the best looking in the UK and has been rewarded with a London photo-shoot.
Gourmet yoghurt brand The Collective launched a beauty competition with a difference, to find the UK’s most gorgeous cow. A total of 123 cows were submitted for entry, with a prize of £1,000 up for grabs to the person who submitted the picture and The Collective donating £500 to the winner’s city/community farm of choice.
The winning cow, Bluegrass Sergeants Snow Queen, was chosen by a panel of judges, who independently rated a choice of 6 cows that were through to the final. Her owner Mark Davis is the winner of the prize and has brought her up from Wescott Farm, Devon to showcase her in true beauty pageant style, as Snow Queen has her own Vogue style photo-shoot and is paraded around London’s key landmarks today as she is crowned and sashed the winner.
