The death occurred suddenly at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Friday September 13, 2013 of J. Guy Thompson of Frenchfort aged 72 years. The beloved husband of Rena (Sanderson) and loving father of Cheryl (Randy) Drake, Karen (Fred) Vanderkloet, Bloyce (Terri (Cannon)) Thompson and Kimberley (Jeremy) Lewis. He is also survived by his sisters Georgina (Don) MacDonald, Heather (Glen) Nason, Donna Thompson, Lorna Thompson and Glenda (John) Mallett and his cherished grandchildren Kyle, Rachel, Megan, Katelyn, Isaac, Hannah, Jack, Taylor, Alyson and Jenell. He was predeceased by his parents John R. and Maude (Taylor) Thompson, his sister Elizabeth (Bette) and nephew Paul MacDonald. Guy, a humble, hard working farmer of Eastside Holsteins will be resting at the Belvedere Funeral Home, for visiting hours on Monday, September 16, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service to be held on Tuesday September 17, 2013 at 1:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment in Central United Church Cemetery, Dunstaffnage.
