Organised by the French herdbook Prim’Holstein, the the highly contested “Cow of the Year” goes to Picston Shottle-daughter, Galaxie. The 8-year-old Galaxie is now in her 6th lactation and has completed 78,962kg with an average cell of 46,000. Galaxie’s entire breeding unit faired very well in the whole competition – her owner l’EARL du Petit Ramard placed 2nd in the Best Breeder segment, whilst her 14-year-old granddam Apie (Gordon-Loustic), placed 8th in her section. Winning the coveted Best Breeder title was Gaec Cabon.
