Anticipation was high as new sales managers Barclay Phoenix and John Weaver took over the reins of the Sale of Stars. Topping the sale at $95,000 was Juniper Sid Chardonnay VG-87, 1st Junior 2 Year Old WDE 2018, bred Sept ’18 to Beemer, 6 gens VG or EX to Belroux Storm Cristal EX-96 2e 3*. She was purchased by Elmvue Holstein from NY.
In an international first, a European show cow was sold in a North America show. Bons-Holsteins Koba 219 EX-91 NL (S: Lauthority), the 6th generation of VG or EX who is gearing up for the 2019 European Championship show, saw half interest sell for $46,000 to Westcoast Holsteins from BC.
