Listed below are the official results of the 2012 All-American contest. This is the 36th year of the contest and the 6th year in which only approved Red & White shows were accepted. 153 were entered and 113 were nominated. All-American winners receive a beautiful plaque, Reserve and Honorable Mentions receive a certificate.
Our 15 judges for 2012 were: Rick Allyn, CT, Justin Burdette, PA, John Erbsen, IL, Michael Heath, MD, Brad Hoover, PA, Chris Lahmers, OH, Matt Lawrence, PA, Jason Lloyd, NY, Morey Miller, CT, Kelly Myers-Zepp, MD, Dennis Patrick, MD, Mark Rueth, WI, Chad Ryan, WI, Steve Shaw, PA and Eric Topp, OH. All 15 of our judges officiated at a National or Approved Red & White show in 2012. Our thanks to them for their prompt and professional placing of these classes.
In 2012, there were 14 Unanimous All-Americans. What an amazing accomplishment!! Several All-Americans and Reserve All-Americans from 2011 returned to receive All-American honors in 2012. On the sire side, Advent scored 2 All-Americans with 5 Reserves, Redliner added 2 All-Americans with 2 Reserves, Sterling and Hvezda both added 2 All-Americans and Contender added 3 Reserves and Destry and Talent added 1 All-American and 1 Reserve. We would also like to recognize our Red & White Judging Contest winners. Chris Hill from Thurmont, MD won the Senior division with a nearly perfect score while Morgan Lundy from Jefferson, WI placed 1st in the Junior Division for the second consecutive year.
