Junior members of the Wisconsin Holstein Association are invited to participate in the group’s essay contest this year.
Members who are 15 years of age or younger are encouraged to write a paper 500 words or less on if they could establish a farm anywhere in the world, where would it be and why.
In the senior division, which consists of students between the ages of 16-20, the essay should be 750 words or less about the most ‘game-changing’ technology implemented on dairy farms in the last 10 years.
Judges will score the essays on grammar, neatness and content that answers the essay question posed. First through third place is awarded in each age division.
The deadline to submit the essays is November 15.
