The Rosedale Sale of Excellence was bound to be a great event and it didn’t disappoint with 123 lots averaging $5,850. It was standing room only as the crowd gathered to join in this special day. Mark and Nicky Rueth rolled out the red carpet and offered the best of their years of breeding and development of outstanding families and cows along with several of their partners.

Topping the sale was Arolene Goldwyn Divine owned by Rosedale Genetics and Dan Hovden. The EX-92 Goldwyn sold due in June with a Solomon ultrasounded female. The 2016 All-American Sr. 3 nominee milked 118 pounds on her last test. Divine is a Goldwyn daughter of Wendon Dundee Divina EX92-5E. She is due in June with an Ultrasounded Female Soloman. Budjon/Vail won the right to take the silky cow home with a final bid of $92,000. Her March 5 2016 Solomon daugther sold for $15,000.

Rosedale Lucky-Rose-Red EX-94 was second-high seller at $35,000 to Oakfield Corners Dairy. The Rainyridge Perseus daughter of Rosedale Crown of Thorns-ET 2E-91 (Sanchez) from Redrose 4E-96. Sold due in June carrying an ultrasound Avalance female.

Selling for $20,500, Rosedale Worth Repeating EX91 sold as Lot 40 to be the third high seller of the day. Worth Repeating is a Goldwyn daughter of Redrose due in May to Maverick Crush.
Lot 23 rounded out the top five high prices of the sale selling for $15,200. Rosedale Devastating-Red-ET is a June Heztry daughter of Lucky Rose EX94, followed by an EX91 Sanchez then Redrose. Rosedale Devastating-Red-ET sold for $15,200.
Adam Fraley of Fraley Auction, Muncy, Pennsylvania, was the auctioneer with Norm Nabhoz on pedigrees in the box.
