Seagull-Bay Miss America Takes Canadian Genomic Lists by Storm

Eight daughters appearing in the top 200 of the September 2013 genomic female releases demonstrates the breeding power of Seagull-Bay Miss America.

Ammon-Peachey SHAUNA; Dam to MISS AMERICA and SARGEANT

Leading the way is her Day daughter, MS AMERICA DIXIE, who is #5 on the list. Dixie’s Direct Genomic Values (DGV’s) are almost 20% higher than her amazing parent average.  Dixie delivers above and beyond the already great genetics that she inherited from her dam and 2nd dam who were both list toppers in their generations as well.  Dixie is joined on the list by her full sisters, MS AMERICA DORA-ET at #19, MS AMERICA DANFY at #44, MS AMERICA DAYROSS-ET at #61, MS AMERICA DALLAS-ET at #167 and MS AMERICA DANINO-ET at #200.  She is also joined by her Cashmoney sister MS AMERICA CASHGIRL-ET at #32 and her Determine sister MS AMERICA DESY-ET at #80.

Adding to this impressive list of performers are her already released sisters, MS AMERICA METRONOMY (+3544 LPI), MS AMERICA PRECIOUS (+3505 LPI), MS AMERICA BEAUTY (+3469 LPI), MS AMERICA PARADISE (+3345 LPI) and MS AMERICA DAYLIGHT (+3319 LPI).  All five are in the top 400 of all Genomic females in Canada.

Also showing her genomic prowess is MISS TMK ROBUST MUGSY with three daughters on the list, all by different sires.  MS SHAN MILOU-ET at #8, MS DTRMIN MOLLY at #59 and MS CASHMONEY MIRACLE at #154.

For TAG and our partners, these outstanding performances, further demonstrate that our Genetic Vision is working.  Our focus at TAG is the achievement of truly efficient milk production from durable, long-lasting cows.  Breeder confidence in TAG has never been higher.  Thanks to all those who have helped in implementing this program and who are ready to build on its success!
