The Parade of Perfection sold exciting breed leading GTPI females, world class red carrier genetics, and some spectacular show prospects from tremendous family lines. When things wrapped up for the day, 122 lots averaged $14,082.
Highlights:
- The sale kicked off with Lot 12, MS Licorice GC Lavish-ET*RC a stunning 9/12 Gold Chip x Rockymountain Talent Licorice-ET EX-95 for $25,500. The fancy daughter from the All-American 4-Year-Old in 2011, Lavish has the potential to be the 12th generation VG or EX from the Lydia family.
- She was followed by Lot 11, another Licorice daughter, this model a 10/12 +2288 GTPI Numero Uno went for $40,000.
- Next highlight was the fancy Lot 23, Valleyville Alexander Chief. she was nominated All-Canadian Junior Calf in 2012 and will be ready to show in 2013. The gavel fell at $35,000 for her.
- Bringing $18,000 was Lot 93 Miss Highlight Show Time, a 9/12 Atwood – full age fall calf for the 2013 shows features a tremendous rump with a beautiful sweeping rib. She’s out of a VG-86 Dundee then an EX-93 Linjet and her 3rd dam is 3E-94 Pine-Log Trilogy, who was nominated All-American in 2000.
- Taking the bid at $35,000 is Lot 6, Seagull-Bay Hdlnr Minnow-ET +2420 GTPI. She’s a 10/12 Headliner x Seagull-Bay Domain Caly-ET VG-85.
- A unique genetic opportunity went for $39,000 with Lot 33, Sco-Lo Dean Candy-ET, a 10/12 Super Dean +2432 GTPI out of Larcrest Coralee-ET, a Gerard from the Larcrest ‘C’ family. Family line has no Planet, Shottle, Goldwyn, or Bolton.
- Also from the Larcrest ‘C’ family came Lot 32, Larcrest Chariot-ET. The 1/12 +2398 GTPI Shamrock x Larcrest Crimson-ET EX-91 earned a $38,000 final bid.
- With sizzling excitement, Lot 1 MS Apples Uno Armana-ET *RC crossed the block for $137,000. The 10/12 +2446 GTPI Numero Uno x KHW Regiment Apple-Red-ET is a tremendous heifers and perhaps one of the most valuable *RC females in the world.
- Taking a high bid at $185,000 was Lot 4, OCD McCutchen Duchess-ET *RC, a 10/12 McCutchen at +2538 GTPI +4.05T +3.71UDC out of Curr-Vale Obsrvr Delta-ET, the +2208 GTPI daughter of Curr-Vale Goldwyn Delicious (EX-91 GMD DOM) who is 7th generation EX cow. Duchess is believed to be the highest GTPI *RC heifer in the world!
- Also cresting six figures at $180,000 was Lot 3, Benner Mogul Bullseye, a 11/12 Mogul at +2598 GTPI / +3686 GLPI / +3994 DGV out of Mapel Wood Baxter Bethany (VG-85-CAN), then Gen-I-Beq Shottle Bombi (EX-92) and back into the Gypsy Grand family.
- Lot 2 Ms Aderyn Mc Abigail-ET *RC took $83,000. She’s a 10/12 McCutchen out of KHW Super Aderyn-ET (GTPI +2272); 2nd dam is KHW Goldwyn Aiko-ET (EX-91 DOM GTPI +2049) who is the Goldwyn sister to Apple out of EX-95 Altitude. Abigail carries a +2437 GTPI and is +4.01 on type. She has very credible Canadian numbers as well at +3279 GLPI / +3620 DGV.
- At $34,000, Lot 9 Butz-Hill Bookem Luma-ET, a 8/12 Bookem at +2438 GTPI +872NM +7.7PL +2.0DPR out of Kellercrest Manoman Lacy-ET (GTPI +2327) then six more VG & EX dams. Luma’s Canadian numbers are +3302 GLPI / +3497 DGV.
- Lot 14, Morsan Miss Ambition at 10/12 Numero Uno x Eastside Lewisdale Gold Missy EX-95 went for $29,000. She’s at +2323 GTPI.
- A young, but highly in demand calf crossed the ring at $91,000 for Lot 16, Butz-Hill Magicstar-ET a +2504 GTPI. She’s a late 12/12 McCutchen x Morsan Man D Missy-ET VG-85 with Eastside Lewisdale Gold Missy EX-95 two dams back.
- Lot 28, Mormann Sr Gingerbread grabbed $60,000. This 12/12 is +2533 GTPI Shamrock x Vision-Gen Sh Frd A12304-ET VG-85 and the dam is believed to be one of the best Freddies around.
- Lot 31 went for $27,000. She is EDG Rudy Mogul Rose-ET a 12/12 Mogul x Sandy-Valley Robust Ruby-ET +2440.
