The time is 10:00 am on August 2nd, in Yinchuan city China. S.A.E. Afikim with the Government of Ningxia Zhongning County, Chongqing Agricultural Investment Group Company held a signing ceremony to build an Israel and China Ningxia Demo Farm.
The Israel and China Ningxia Demo Farm is a big-scale modern agricultural project, which is invested by Chongqing Agricultural Investment Group and S.A.E. Afikim as the provider for farm management and technical support. The project include building a dairy farm which will graze 20,000 herds and a dairy factory which can produce about 100,000 ton per year, the total invest will be 0.8 billion RMB. In the first phase a dairy farm will be built for 10,000 herds. The plan is to import 6000 quality Holstein cattle from Australia, Uruguay and the U.S., which can be put into operation at the first half year of 2012.
According to the plan, after the farms will be put into operation, the production of high-quality raw milk will be more than 120,000 tons annual per year, and expected the average yield of milking cow per year will be more than 10 tons in three years. This will be one of the highest modern farming and milk productions, on such a large-scale, projects in China.
According to reports, Chongqing Agriculture Investment Group state agriculture investment and agriculture Chain Company in Chongqing, including 7 plates. At the end of 2010, the Group’s total assets and operating revenue is over 6 billion RMB. The project is the integration of the capital advantages of Chongqing Agricultural Investment and the technological advantages of S.A.E. Afikim, the government financing advantage of Inter-Finsmart Investment company, the good nature condition with good policy environment and basic industry of Zhongning County. The successful implementation of this project will provide more than 120,000 tons of high quality raw milk per year, which will be a source quality and safe milk.
