After intensive preliminary talks between representatives of the French insemination cooperative Élitest and the partners of the PhönixGroup, an agreement has now been reached that regulates the intensive cooperation in the breeding area over the next few years. The Élitest cooperative is aiming for full membership in the PhönixGroup and will be integrated into the joint work of the Phönix partnership in several steps in 2022 and 2023.
The work area of Élitest borders directly on the breeding areas of the Phoenix partners Rinder-Union West eG and Rinderunion Baden-Württemberg eV and thus rounds off the Phoenix work area. Élitest stands for cooperative principles and is structured in a similar way to a German cooperative. Last year, the Élitest cooperative carried out more than 200,000 first inseminations, primarily of the Holstein breed. After completion of the integration phase, Élitest will become the seventh cooperation partner of the PhönixGroup.
We are convinced that this expansion will better meet the major challenges currently facing the entire cattle breeding industry.
