Their win was resounding; with Share Pearl 435 (by Radio) they seized the title of Miss Betuwe, otherwise known as the audience championship. Earlier in the evening, this impressive Radio daughter had earned the position of reserve champion in the middle class, graciously conceding the title to Barnkamper Marilyn 812 (by Merryguy) belonging to Leo, Artje, and Linda De Jong from Beusichem.
Stepping into the spotlight, Pearl proudly accepts the mantle from previous title-holder Cinderella 158, who was incidentally her stablemate. Van Deelen’s Fitz daughter finished in the reserve spot among the seniors, echoing her performance from last year. She modestly stepped back to herald the entrance of DG DH Pearl (by Powerball), another esteemed cow from Van Deelen’s stables.

Interesting detail: The Powerball daughter has already produced more than 100,000 kg of milk and is the mother of the brand-new Miss Betuwe.
News from the heifer ring also brings reason for celebration. HHH Reserve Champion, Van Deelen, was prominent amongst the heifers, achieving the reserve title with Share Demo Jordy Darling 2 (by Jordy); an ownership he shares with Addy Moree. The top honor was bestowed upon Willem’s-Hoeve JMW Applause 26, the red and white Moovin daughter of Jurjen Metz, Martijn Nuij, and Wim De Jong who clinched the reserve title at the HHH show last Autumn.
