Delaberge Pepper rises to the top in the UK – Sire Proof Central 12/18

Delaberge Pepper (Mogul x Planet) rises to the top of the UK type rankings for daughter proven sires at +3.39 overall Type Merit at 91% reliability. Now with one hundred UK daughters in his type proof, Pepper is a big improver for mammary, legs & feet and body traits. Staying in second place is the well-known EDG Rubicon (Mogul x Robust) with +3.36 TM (86% Rlb).  Adding UK classified daughters for the first time is Galactico (Galaxy x Bookem), now scoring +3.28 TM (80% Rlb), which puts him in third place among proven bulls. Notably he is a teat length improver (+0.97). Previous number one, Mr Moviestar Mardi Gras (Mogul x Planet) is now in fourth with +3.24 Type Merit at 96% reliability. 

Young genomic bulls

Pine-Tree Legacy with +906 gPLI is once again the #gPLI sire. Followed by Denovo 7921 Atrium who holds the second position with +878 gPLI. Third in the international genomic list in the UK is Peak Altaleap with +871 gPLI and 2.35 Type followed by ABS Crimson with +853 gPLI. The last in the top 5 is ABS Outback with +847 gPLI.

Heterozygous polled bull Swissbec Boby P (Modesty x Mardi Gras) moves up into second place at +3.19 TM (56% RLB).  The high ranking PLI bull Mr Rubi Agronaut (Rubicon x Shotglass) is now at number three among young sires for type at +3.15 (57% Rlb). Newcomer Denovo Sangria (Achiever x Modesty) is in fourth place, at +3.14 TM (53% Rlb).
