The Dairy Cares executive committee is proud to announce it raised $104,000 for Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin at their 3rd annual Dairy Cares Garden Party held July 20. This event substantially increased last year’s contributions due to devoted sponsors and attendees.
“I am so thrilled! The journey of this event is one of kind. The support and friendships that have been created are amazing. The generosity of our sponsors, guests, and the Dairy Cares Executive Committee is an incredible gift to the children and families that utilize Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin,” said Jim Ostrom, Dairy Cares Chair.
The event began on the splendid sunny afternoon with a special reception in the front gardens then moved to the beautifully landscaped backyard overlooking the Fox River. Attendees feasted on luscious hors d’oeuvres and socialized while a 4-piece band serenaded them from the balcony. A glorious sunset provided the perfect backdrop for the festivities, and the crowning glory of the evening was a spectacular fireworks show that set the sky ablaze with light and color.
