Canada Holds Firm On Supply Management

Despite threat’s from US President Donald Trump, Canada’s prime minister Justin Trudeau is preparing to defend his farmers as NAFTA talks move forward.

“My position on defending supply management has not changed, we will defend supply management.”

Justin Trudeau told reporters Tuesday he’s encouraged by progress between NAFTA partners and looks forward to signing a deal as long as it’s good for Canada.

White House economic advisor Larry Kudlow told FOX News this week the U.S. will only accept a good deal which includes supply management concessions.

Canadian officials are currently in D.C. to work on the trade deal.
