Ayrshire is Top Cow, Holstein Top Heifer at the Premier National Junior Show

The 4 Year Old Ayrshire was named Supreme Champion Cow of the Premier National Junior Show on Monday, September 19, during the 2016 All-American Dairy Show at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex and Expo Center in Harrisburg.

Cedarcut Burdette Clove C, exhibited by Erin Curtis Szalach, Cazenovia, N.Y., is the supreme champion.

The Fall Yearling class winner of the Holstein show, Heart and Soul Sammy Ricki, was named Supreme Champion Heifer. She is owned by Matthew Boop, Millmont, Union Co.

Judges from all breed shows joined to agree on what was termed “an amazing heifer and cow.” Judges were:

The 53rd All-American Dairy Show runs September 18-22 at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex and Expo Center in Harrisburg. This year’s show features 22 shows in six days, the nation’s only all-dairy antiques show, nearly 2,800 animals and more than 1,300 exhibitors from across the nation.
