At the British National Show in Birmingham. the 4-year-old Blythbridge Elegant Christabel (photo) of Blyth Farms, Scotland, was named the new British National Champion. Winning is not new to Christabel (Dundee son x Broker Elegance), in 2011 she had already won the heifer class of the prestigious Agriscot, as well as the Royal Highland Show. Reserve Grand Champion was Richaven Goldwyn Irene, a 4th generation EX from the Richaven herd. The also took the banners with the heifers and the seniors. The heifer class was won by Holmland Goldwyn Adeen from the Chief Adeen family same family as 2012 Golden Dam Finalist , MD-DELIGHT DURHAM ATLEE, while Richaven Goldwyn Adrienne, the Reserve Grand Champion of last year, was made Senior Champion. Lliwe Shottle Rosina, daughter of defending champion Castellhyfryd Spirte Rosina, ended in second place with the heifers, while Logan Modest Lula captured that place with the seniors.
