Trans-America Genetics Welcomes Dr. Kalyne Bertolin to the Team

A familiar face for many people, driven by her interest for the dairy industry, Kalyne has volunteered at many TAG events over the past few years. She brings a wealth of talent to the TAG group and her diverse interests will make her an integral part of both the Genetic and Marketing departments.

Dr. Bertolin’s educational portfolio is impressive. She studied Veterinary medicine in her home country, Brazil, graduating in 2008. She moved to Quebec to study in the fields of physiology of animal reproduction, in vitro fertilization and animal reproductive biology at the University of Montreal. She completed her Master’s degree in 2010 and obtained her PhD in 2013 both under the supervision of Dr. Bruce D. Murphy. Her thesis in the animal reproduction field of basic research was indicated for the Dean’s Honor List for being rated as excellent.
Kalyne has a unique skill set and has developed a network in the research field that will be of tremendous value to TAG” affirms Patrice Simard, President of Trans-America Genetics.

Kalyne brings a dynamic attitude, great knowledge and excellent computer skills to the TAG team. Fluent in three languages, Portuguese, French and English she will be a great asset to the ever increasing TAG market network.
