Midas-Touch Jedi Jangle Sells for $77,000 at The Get In The Game Sale


The Get In The Game Sale was hosted and managed by Savage-Leigh, on Wednesday evening, October 2nd at the Sheraton Hotel in Madison, WI.  The sale featured numerous animals on the Expo grounds that were entered in the breed shows and a number of absentee consignments and embryo lots.

Topping the sale at $77,000 was Midas-Touch Jedi Jangle EX-92, the 2018 Reserve All-Canadian Junior 2-Year-Old, fresh again as a junior 3-year-old and placed 4th in that class on Saturday. A Locator List cow out of a VG-87 maternal sister to Supersire, Jangle hails back to the Rudy Missy family. She was consigned by Clark Valley, London Dairy Farms, and Eaton Holsteins, London, ON and purchased by Westcoast Holsteins, Chilliwack, BC.

Savage-Leigh Selser-Red-ET

The 2nd highest seller of the day at $20,000 was Savage-Leigh Selser-Red, a R&W winter yearling that was Junior Champion at the 2019 NY Spring Show, and is out of Redtag Destry Sneezy-Red, Grand Champion of the International R&W Junior Show in 2017. Selser-Red was 2nd in the winter yearling class at the International Red & White Show the next afternoon. She was consigned by Chase Savage, Union Bridge, MD and purchased by Westcoast Holsteins, Chilliwack, BC.

Rounding out the top sellers at $18,500 was Garay Goldwyn Amaze VG-86-2YR, a junior 2-year-old out of an EX-91-2E-CAN Aftershock, then EX-97 Shoremar S Alicia.  She was consigned by John Smith, Mike Bell, and Jamie Black, Mountain, ON and purchased by Adam Liddle, Argyle, NY

The sale average on 33 live lots was $10,419 and the embyro average was $564/embryo. Adam Fraley handled the auctioneer duties at the sale, while Norman Nabholz read pedigrees. Gina Fraley clerked the sale and much of the sale promotion was handled by the CattleClub crew.
