Dairybullsonline – On Satureday November 24th we were prepping a facebook page for Kulp-Dale Golden PP-Red. While it was being constructed the picture was posted and started to get likes. We went ahead and posted the picture on our DairyBullsOnline facebook page as well. Within 20 Mins we were shocked to have an inquiry and a considerable offer to buy 5 units of Golden-PP and a 90 day exclusivity for use on one breeders animals. Just to give background the bull will be a year Dec 18/2012. He had made his first collection of 30 units for Breeder Kulp-Dale Genetics (David & Dr. Anne B. Kulp). Our plans were to wait for December Evaluations to make plans to start to market the bull. Through our Lease and Marketing arrangement with the Collection Facility NBS (Nebraska Bull Services) we work closely with breeders. It was mutually decided that this offer needed to be considered. It also meant the breeder himself put off using the bull for the 90 day period. We discussed the pros and cons of this offer. We had discussions with other breeders as well. Everyone ultimately said we would be crazy not to take it. It was decided this offer was too good to turn down and was accepted. This will result in delaying the release of Kulp-Dale Golden PP-Red until March/05/2013. This also will allow us to have a suitable inventory to bring the bull to the marketplace. We will learn more on the official genomic evaluation of the Golden PP December 4th. Continue to watch for updates.
