“Supply Management Yesterday, Supply Management Today, Supply Management Tomorrow”. Ontario’s Minister of Agriculture and Food and Rural Affairs, Jeff Leal, says he doesn’t want to see the federal government trade away the supply management sector.
In an interview with The Bullvine during the recent Canadian Dairy Xpo, Minister Leal was emphatic about the need to defend supply management in Canada.
Leal says Ontario will be relentless in defending supply management. He adds when it’s healthy, it helps other sectors like pork and beef and helps strengthen rural communities.
