The Tulip Holstein Sale held on Friday, December 11th during the 25th Holland Holstein Show in the Netherlands, attracted a very large crowd of enthusiastic Holstein breeders from all over Europe resulting in a final average of Euro 6.400 (US§7.033) on 61 lots and Euro 4.500 (US§ 4.945) on 7 embryo lots with a total sale gross of Euro Euro 427.800 (US$ 470.661). The highest seller Lot 7, Holec Joki RC P sold for Euro 34.000 to S.J.& D Kat, The Netherlands. This very nice Kingboy daughter is the No.1 PTAT Polled heifer in Europe. Cattle sold to 9 different countries including the Netherlands.
The sale was managed by A.L.H. Genetics with Michael Taaffe as auctioneer and Brian Behnke & Ids Hellinga reading the pedigrees.
