Prices at this week’s Global Dairy Trade auction did not change from the previous event, with the average price at $2,339 (USD/MT, FAS).
Price rises in several key commodities were offset by a 4.5 per cent decrease in the price of whole milk powder.
Skimmed milk powder rose in price by 1.5 per cent, whilst butter prices rose by 5.3 per cent. Cheddar prices rose by 6.9 per cent.
