On May 18, GENEX kicked off a live and illuminating virtual learning experience for Spanish-speaking dairy producers around the globe. For the first of six sessions, the experience – deemed GENEX Hard-Wired – drew more than 130 participants from 10 countries.
“We are excited for the opportunity this virtual learning program provides to our members and customers across the world. With the click of a button, this program is connecting dairy producers with world-class industry experts,” states Anne Davison, GENEX Director of Dairy Sales Support. “This program is helping dairy producers build their skills and be their best self for their future and for their next generation.”
While born out of necessity – as COVID-19 caused the cancellation of an in-person GENEX Academy training – GENEX Hard-Wired is providing even more producers the opportunity to build their knowledge.
These producers are hearing from industry experts who are sharing cutting-edge research, technologies and practices within the dairy industry. Topics include reproduction, genetics, colostrum management, disease prevention & management during the transition period and leadership skills.
“These sessions cover the latest topics impacting dairy producers,” states Davison. “The diverse portfolio of topics will help producers raise healthy calves, navigate the critical periods in a cow’s life, and make the most out of their genetic decisions.”
Unique to this program, participants also receive a one-year subscription to dairylearning.com, an industry-leading progressive dairy hub. This website, with its ever-growing number of courses in multiple languages, is the go-to location for information and training within the dairy industry.
