Jersey Canada is pleased to announce the Judge for the 2023 National Jersey Show at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair: Pat Conroy
Pat resides in Angola, Indiana with his wife, Jeannie, and two children, Kaiden and Zailey . He currently works marketing commercial dairy cattle, both domestically and internationally. He is also co-owner of Genesis Genetics Mexico. Pat owns roughly 60 head of registered dairy cattle scattered through-out the globe. He has owned or sold numerous All-American and All-Canadian nominations throughout his career. Of those, 19 have earned the title of champion, reserve, or honorable mention at the World Dairy Expo and/or the Royal Winter Fair. In his career, Pat has owned or sold six cows nominated for All-World in Holstein International. Pat has had the privilege to judge shows in 20 different countries.
Jersey Canada is pleased to announce the Associate Judge for the 2023 National Jersey Show at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair: Gary Jones
Gary from Gorey, Co. Wexford, Ireland was born and raised on his family’s 50-cow Hallow farm. Together with his wife Izzy and sons Ted, Rory and daughter Ella, they now live on their own farm with the ‘Jones’ prefix which strives to breed balanced cattle with elite marketable pedigrees. Alongside this, Gary also works as a Farm Manager for a 500 cow dairy herd. The Jones prefix has owned, bought, sold and bred numerous National Champions throughout Europe:
- Sunnibelle Dempsey Espirit – Grand Champion Swiss Expo 2019, 2020, Reserve Grand All-European Show & Reserve Grand Bulle Expo 2019, 2022 & HM Grand Bulle Expo 2023
- Hallow Atwood Twizzle – Italian National Champion 2016, 1st 5-year-old, All-European Show 2016
- Jomagro Goldwyn Jasmine – 1st 4-year-old Swiss Expo & Italian National Champion 2018
- Knowlesmere Goldwyn Abrakaboom – UK National Champion 2016
