Animal rights movement promotes their agenda on college campuses

Summer is flying by which means school is almost back in session! As students head back to campus, unfortunately animal rights activist groups are headed there too. College outreach and “humane education” are ways the animal rights movement promotes their agenda on college campuses where many students are making their own food-purchasing decisions for the first time and discovering what causes they are passionate about. The Animal Agriculture Alliance launched the College Aggies Online (CAO) scholarship program in 2009 to give agriculture students the resources and training to become confident and effective communicators on behalf of the animal agriculture community and debunk what their peers are hearing from animal rights groups on campus and online.

Now in its 14th year, the 2022 program kicks off on September 12 – students, collegiate clubs and classes are invited to sign up here. CAO would truly not be possible without the support of our sponsors. If your organization is interested in learning more about how you can support this year’s program, please email me!
