A great showing of support was on hand for the dispersal of the three-time Master Breeder winning Medway Farms Ltd. herd of Court Carmichael and sons James and Brent.  The 87 head herd, sold for an average of $2903 (unofficial).

Selling at the top price of $5500 was Medway Fever Emvee (VG-85), a 2-year-old “Fever” daughter who completes four generations of Very Good or Excellent, who was purchased by Mornholme Holsteins, Listowel, Ont. Fresh since January, she is from a Very Good-86, show winning “Dundee” dam with 10,229 kg milk, 3.9% fat, 3.3% protein (195-209-203) and then an Excellent-2E, 2-Star “Gibson” grandam.

Wayne Maw, Petrolia, Ont., paid $5300 for Medway Larkin Mabel (Ex-92), a 5-year-old Emilane Larkin daughter from the Medway Matta Marlie (VG-88-14*) family. Due in April to “Brewmaster”, she has records to 10,165 kg milk, 3.3% fat, 3.3% protein (206-186-212). Another member of the Marlie family, Medway Chip Marsha, was best selling heifer calf at $5200. This March 13, 2015 “Gold Chip” heifer from an Excellent “Goldwyn” dam was purchased by Downiebrook Farms Ltd., St. Pauls, Ont.
