The Sale Must Go On – Welcome West Sale Gets Big Results


Months of preparation and hard work go into preparing for a sale.  So when a global pandemic hits out of nowhere tough decisions have to be made.   T&L Cattle company and the ones who were behind the scene of the decided to go ahead with the Welcome West Sale.  Changes in the format where made due to Covid-19.  On March 17th and 18th interested parties could enter an “intent to buy”  any lots that are matched by an intending buyer will be considered sold. Any lots with 2 or more matches will be bid off between those two or more bidders. As to date there has been 83 lots sold averaging $8293.00.

Topping the sale was  Lot 15 Oakfield Goldwyn Destiny $50,000 who sold to Frank & Diane Borba and Frank & Carol Borba, CA.  Fresh since Dec she is now scorred VG-88-2yr from the Markweel Luke Rapture family.

The 2nd highest seller was  Lot 58 Sunspark Doorman Limo $50,000.  Now scored VG-89 her dam is a maternal sister to the HM All-Canadian SR 2yr old in 2013, Hodgelyn Dynasty Licorice from the AtoZ Goldwyn Limo family.  She was purchased by Mike & Julie Duckett, WI.

Rounding out the top sellers was Lot 115 Hamming Impression Chiara $20,000.  Fresh since the end of January she is mow scored VG-87 and was purchased byFrank & Diane Borba and Frank & Carol Borba, CA.
