Maple Bottom Pizza Pie, a Guernsey owned by Selby Hawkins of Scottdale, Westmoreland County, took Grand Champion honors at the Premier National Guernsey Show held at the 2014 All American Dairy Show on Monday, Sept. 15, at the Pennsylvania Farm Show and Complex Center, Harrisburg.
Pizza Pie and Hawkins also secured the Senior Champion title after winning the 4 Year Old Cow class and both received the Best Female Bred and Owned honors.
Reserve Champion honors were received by Ripley Esther of Moravia, N.Y. Esther and Ripley Farms A Pie Shelby also placed second in the 4 Year Old Cow class.
Kaila Stoltzfous of East Earl, Lancaster County secured the Intermediate Champion title while Hannah Wilson of Middletown, MD, received Reserve Intermediate Champion.
Junior Champion honors went to Karli Stoltzfus of East Earl, Lancaster County and Reserve Junior Champion honors were received by Cara Trotter of Enon Valley, Lawrence County.
The judge for the show was Doug Evans of Georgetown, N.Y.
