Milk Markets Continued Higher Tuesday in Chicago

On the Chicago Mercantile Exchange milk futures continued higher Tuesday supported by improving stocks, exports, and a bullish milk production report.  Class III markets were green across the board trading anywhere from 1 to 5 cents higher. The second quarter average is at $15.95 and the second half average is at $16.60. 2020 Class III markets also moved higher trading anywhere from 5 to 17 cents higher in months January through October. Class IV markets moved higher as well trading 2 to 8 cents higher in months June to November.

Dry whey down $0.0025 at $0.3350. Four trades were made ranging from $0.3350 to $0.3375. Blocks down $0.0025 at $1.6725. Barrels unchanged at $1.5750. Butter down $0.0075 at $2.2625. Seven trades were made ranging from $2.2550 to $2.2650. Nonfat dry milk up $0.0125 at $1.0125. Seven trades were made ranging from $1.0050 to $1.0125.
