Class III milk futures at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange were mostly lower on spread trade, technical selling, and demand uncertainties. February was up $.02 at $16.90, March was down $.10 at $16.93, April was $.08 lower at $17.05, and May was down $.11 at $17.07.
Cash cheese barrels were down $.0075 $1.5975. There were three loads sold, two at $1.60 and one at $1.6025. The last uncovered offer was for one load at $1.5975. Barrels were unchanged at $1.65. There were four loads sold, all at $1.65.
Butter held at $2.1575. The last unfilled bid was on one load at $2.13. The last uncovered offer was for one load at $2.1575.
Nonfat dry milk was $.03 lower at $.88. There was one load sold at $.88. The last unfilled bid was on two loads at $.875. The last uncovered offer was for one load at $.885.
