It has been a time of great highs as well as lows for Reid Stransky and family over the past few days. After winning Grand Champion at the Midwest Spring Show in Madison on Saturday, a fire destroyed a large farm shed Monday morning. Huge plumes of thick, gray smoke could be seen for miles as about 40 firefighters from Owatonna, Blooming Prairie and Ellendale WI fire departments battled the blaze for several hours. Fire officials suspect a faulty space heater caused the fire. Daria Stransky comments that “This could have been so much worse. No animals or people were injured. Thank you for all of your prayers and support.”
