Michigan Team Wins National 4-H Dairy Judging Contest

Michigan pulled out a victory at the National 4-H Dairy Cattle Judging Contest on September 29 at World Dairy Expo. Team members Lucas Moser, Bryce Frahm, Kayla Holsten and Suzanna Hull worked together to reach to the top in overall placings. Under coaches, Joe Domecq and Sarah Black, the Michigan team seized the win over Ohio by only one point.  In third was Wisconsin with team member Jordan Siemers taking home top overall individual and top individual reasons. Twenty-seven teams from around the country competed in the dairy cattle evaluation contest, judging 10 classes and giving oral reasons on five classes.  Results are as follows:
