Maryland Holstein Convention Averages $3,639

It was a warm spring day in West Minster, MD for the Maryland Holstein Convention sale that featured great females from polled, high GTPI, and Type families. At the end of the day, 90 lots averaged $3,639.

The high seller at $11,900 was Lot 70 – Rocky-Mount Sanchez Finesse, a fresh Sanchez ready for the spring shows. She is out of Kristen-Pride Faye-ET VG-87, EX-MS, a Dundee x Rocky-Mount Dur Francine EX-91, EX-MS (sired by Durham). Second high seller was Lot C who sold for $10,500 and was a first choice female by Predestine out of Coldsprings O-Style 4700-ET x VG-86 VG -MS Coldsprings Planet 3818. Third high seller was LOT A, a pick by Massey out of Clear-Echo Custom 2418-ET x EX-94 2E DOM Clear-Echo 822 Ramo 1200-ET.

The sale was co-managed by MD-Hillbrook and the Maryland Holstein Association. The cattle looked great and it was a full house with lots of bidders on the floor.
