Maryland Cow Wins Premier National Junior Red & White Show

Pheasant-Echos Turvey-Red-ET, exhibited by Kenny Stambaugh of Westminster, Md., topped the Premier National Junior Red & White Show at the All-American Dairy Show on Monday, Sept. 15, 2014.

The three-year-old was named Intermediate Champion by Judge Nathan Thomas before earning the Grand Champion title and Best Bred and Owned animal honors.

Reserve Grand Champion and Reserve Senior Champion cow, L-Maples Hvezda Callie-Red, was exhibited by Cooper Galton of Nunda, N.Y.

Exhibitor Katelyn Nolt of Canton, Bradford County, and her winter calf, Country Path Ab Hunter-Red, earned the title of Junior Champion at the show. Reserve Junior Champion was awarded to fall yearling Maple-Nook Redial-Red and exhibitor Kayla Umbel of Emmitsburg, Md.

Oakvale Advent Cinnabar-Red, an aged cow shown by Olivia Finke of London, Ohio, claimed the title of Senior Champion.
