Dairy genetics innovator STgenetics® has hired a dairy industry veteran to help producers in Washington and Oregon meet their herd management goals. Jodi Coppini is the new Northwest Area Sales Representative, said Jack Hippin, STgenetics’ National Sales and Production Manager.
Coppini will sell from STgenetics’ line-up of elite dairy sires, most of them available in SexedULTRA™ quality sex-sorted semen. “My number one goal is to help my customers improve the genetics within their herds as efficiently and economically as possible,” Coppini said. Coppini, who was raised on dairy farms in California and Oregon, graduated from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo with a bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness. She still farms part-time, lending a hand on her brother’s property, and she has a passion for showing Brown Swiss cows.
“Jodi is a great fit with our customers in the northwest region of the country,” Hippen said. “She grew up in the dairy business and her academic efforts focused on ways to make dairy operations sustainable and profitable. Her customers will learn quickly that she is every bit as pleasant to work with as she is knowledgeable about the industry.”
