Update from Laura Dufford Jackson (Patricia’s daughter and Reese’s Aunt) posted last night:
Just a quick update on Reese. She has really had some great days…showing huge strides in improvement. This little girl is just amazing! The doctors and staff continue to wean her off of her sedation medicines and Reese is more and more aware each day, not yet awake but very aware of her surroundings. She seems to respond to being read to, relaxes to the Disney channel and loves to hear the voices of her family. She had several procedures today and all went well…Reese really seems to “perform” well on surgery/procedure days! Her burns continue to heal on Acell, her lungs are showing signs of working and healing, all seems to be going well for this little fighter! Please continue to thank God for all He has done for this little one and pray for continued healing, strong lungs, no infections and a smooth road to recovery! Thanks to you all for the continued support!
