Cogent Canada Corp. is pleased to announce and welcome Bethany Muir, PhD as Cogent Canada’s Sales and Marketing Manager, effective July 11, 2016. Bethany will be responsible for sales team leadership and driving revenue growth in the Canadian market. In addition, she will give oversight in the areas of marketing and business strategy.

In the current cut-throat world of dairy cattle genetics, a highly-engaged and informed sales staff with a focus on value-added services is the only way forward,” Bethany said.
Bethany comes to Cogent Canada with more than 10 years’ experience working for Holstein Canada, both as the Research and Development Coordinator and most recently the Manager for Classification and Field Service. Bethany has also served on various industry committees related to genetic evaluation, breed improvement and research. Bethany’s extensive experience and knowledge of bovine genetics will be a major contributing factor as she leads the growing Cogent Canada sales force.
Bethany received her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and Masters of Science (MSc) in Animal Breeding and Genetics from the University of Guelph.
