CIAQ hires David Crack Jr and Sylvain Boyer to accelerate the implementation of its business plan

Sylvain Boyer

Sylvain Boyer – As director of producer services, Sylvain Boyer will be responsible for the marketing of all services CIAQ, including genetics and reproduction. It will drive the next stages of deployment of Tandem Solutions and continuous improvement of our operations from producers in all regions.

Before joining CIAQ, Sylvain has career at La Coop network for over 25 years. He served for more than three years as consultant specializing in milk production. He was acting as a regional consultant, ruminant sector, covering cooperatives Beauce, Lotbinière and Nicolet-Yamaska. Its role was to train and advise local officials on the technical and commercial plans. Thereafter, he worked for over 14 years and until his appointment CIAQ the Senior Director, Department of ruminants (dairy, beef, sheep, equine) at The Coop. Sylvain has been serving farmers since right out of the ITA, he was hired as a dairy-plant representative by Coopexcel Granby. He then worked for cooperatives Unicoop in Saint-Anselme and SCA’s Lordship in Lotbinière until 1996.

David Jr Crack

David Jr Crack  – As coordinator and strategist for progressive herds, David will serve CIAQ and producers all its expertise developed at Alta Genetics where he worked for over 17 years. During those years, he worked in the development and management team as well as Alta specialist large herds. It will ensure the implementation of a dedicated plan to the needs of homeowners producers progressive herds.

David grew up on the family farm Crackholm Holsteins in Richmond, he still operates with his children. He twice received the title of Master Breeder herd and also received over 20 nominations All-Canadian in 2002. Judge David is official since 2000 and is recognized as Ambassador of Canadian genetics. He has participated as official judge in several exhibitions in Quebec, Canada, the United States, Australia, Europe and South America.
