Chicago Dairy Markets Mostly Up on Wednesday

At the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, the dairy markets were mostly up on trading Wednesday. Class Three milk for February was down $.02 at $13.46.  March was up $.03 at $14.24.  April was up $.01 at $14.16.  May was down $.03 to $14.39.  June and July Milk futures were up but the balance of the year was down.

Grade AA Butter was up $.05 at $2.19.  Fourteen carloads were sold with prices ranging from $2.15 to $2.19. Barrels were up $.0025 to $1.4850.  Six carloads were sold ranging from $1.4825 to $1.4850.  40-pound blocks were up $.0050 at $1.55.  One carload of blocks sold at that price. Nonfat dry milk was up $.0025 at $.6850 per pound. One carload traded at that price.
