Century-old dairy farm hit by storm

The Carlson Dairy farm in Pennock, Minnesota, has been in the family since the 1800s.

But the Carlsons have never seen anything like what happened Sunday morning.

Chad Carlson and a few employees were working at about 7 a.m. when Carlson saw the sky get dark to the west as he went into one of their barns.

Shortly after, he suddenly felt the roof rip off and felt powerful winds whipping through the building. In just minutes, about 10 animals were injured and nearly all of the farm’s buildings were damaged, some of them almost completely leveled.
