CDX Canceled to April 7-8 2021

After substantial consideration, internal discussion and consultation with the Stratford Rotary Complex staff, the Mayor of Stratford (Dan Mathieson), the Medical Officer of Health (Huron Perth Public Health), Dr. Miriam Klassen alongside the Province of Ontario – It with great sadness that the 2020 Canadian Dairy XPO (CDX) will be cancelled. This final decision was ultimately made by government and health officials with significant parameters around largescale events/gatherings.

As Canada’s largest dairy stage attracting international interest, our first and foremost priority is for the health & safety of our dairy farm families, dairy industry, team CDX and the residents of Stratford. Our second priority is the sustainability for CDX, ensuring we can operate and grow to benefit dairy farm families and the dairy industry for the next 100+ years.

In May 2020, all 350+ exhibitors and sponsors have received a 10% interest payment on any exhibitor and/or sponsorship fees paid towards CDX 2020. Of this there are approximately 70+ exhibiting companies and sponsors who have generosity chosen to donate their 10% to the Canadian Mental Health Association, all funds being directed within the Agricultural sector across Canada. This amount represents $25,000 and counting.

The Canadian Dairy XPO is Canada’s presentation to the global dairy industry and we look forward to the extra momentum behind innovation, education and networking now set for CDX 2021.

We sincerely thank the industry and producers for your patience in these times of uncertainty. There is immense strength in the dairy industry and the greater agricultural community.  We hope you and your families are safe and healthy.  Please stay strong and stay together – We very much look forward to seeing you at CDX 2021: April 7-8th 2021.
