Canada’s first EX-97 cow, Davidsons Raider Bronze, Dies

DAVIDSONS RAIDER BRONZE EX-97-9E-CAN

Davidsons Raider Bronze Canada’s first EX-97 cow has died at the age of 21 years and 8 months old. In 11 freestall lactations Bronze produced 150,373 kgs of 3.9%F and 3.1%P.  Bred by Davidsons Holsteins of Bluemenort MB, Bronze helped but Davidsons as well as owner Peter Tuytel of Embridge Holsteins in Chilliwack BC on the map.  Tuytel says “It is unbelievable how many people from all over the world have come to see her.”  Bronze was also the Grand Champion at the 1998 & 1999 Chilliwack Holstein Show as well as reserve in 2002.  Scoring GP-81 as a 2yr, Bronze moved up to VG-85 in 2nd lacation and then EX in her 3rd lactation something should would do 8 more times ultimately going 97 points in her 10th lactation in February of 2006.
