A barn fire in eastern Wisconsin on Friday night has claimed the lives of dozens of young livestock on a dairy farm in Kewaunee County.
According to officials with the Luxemburg Community Fire Department, crews from 12 agencies fought the multiple-alarm blaze for over nine hours.
Reports say 30 calves and a dairy cow perished in the fire. But crews were able to save other nearby buildings.
The barn is considered a total loss. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
