Black Joins Semex as New England Partner Development Manager

Semex is pleased to announce that Jamie Black will be joining its team as the New England Partner Development Manager effective Monday, December 1.

As a Partner Development Manager, Jamie will be responsible for delivering dairy genetic solutions to Semex customers in New England. These solutions focus on client needs and creating value at the farm gate. Born and raised on an eastern Ontario Registered Holstein farm, Jamie has extensive real world dairy experience. Working as an international professional dairy cattle fitter, he has assisted dairymen in marketing and promoting their own individuals while also developing his Opportunity Genetics herd that has bought and sold numerous All-American and All-Canadian Holsteins and Jerseys. This extensive list includes well-known names including: Cowtown Durham Grasshopper; Ms Atwood Madison; Vandenberg Amedeo Gorgeous; and Greenlane
Destry Laurel.

In recent years, Jamie has been a key contact for cattle sales from coast to coast and has managed several successful auctions and tag sales, as well as officiating at several national shows. These shows include the New York Spring Red & White Show, New York Spring Ayrshire Show, All-American Red & White Show and was recently Associate Judge at the All-American Jersey Show in Louisville.
