But more than just the sale there many touching moments including this special message that Brianne shares here :
Yesterday on the buyers list I mentioned there would be a special announcement today. I received a lot of compliments on my sale posts this week but nothing I say here is going to do justice to the incredible act of generosity bestowed upon our family after the sale. I will try to keep this short but the emotions are strong here so bear with me!!!!!! A friend I grew up with in 4H back when I lived in Dufferin County reached out yesterday out of the blue. You could say we had lost touch over the years but is that really ever the case with facebook and social media these days? Dwayne asked us to have Chase pick from two of the remaining summer yearlings in the sale and asked that we put her in Chase’s name with Jersey Canada. As you will see in the video Chase chose Beslea Fizz Alligator…..here’s the kicker…….and the tears have started…..again……the purchase price of Alligator, $2000.00, has been donated to the Ontario Autism Coalition and Chase gets to keep Alligator. Thank you doesn’t seem sufficient. There are no words big enough. From the bottom of our hearts THANK YOU!!!
The sale also awarded several different scholarship winners:
